Still On Top

You have to love the fact that not a single post has been made to this blog in over one year, and yet, if you Google

This blog is near the top (actually #3) in the hit list. If you do a Google search on South Dakota & Medicine you will almost always see this blog closely related to the USD-SOM. :--)

I guess there are still people at the USD-SOM that are still interested in or worried about the truths that are in digital ink and will remain for eternity ... or until this internet thing is just a fad! Ha!

Oh, by the way, loved the fact that > 60% of the 2014 (http://www.usd.edu/medical-school/medical-doctor-program/upload/Class-of-2014-Profile-for-Website.pdf) class did not have significant science background; I guess there is only a tangential relationship between science and medicine. Glad one has that strong background in political science or acting or whatever non-science concentration ... hmmmm, makes me real confident in those future DOCTORS you are supposedly educating. Oh, then again, maybe the non-science training should be expected as your faculty in the "biological" sciences and the School of Medicine do not have significant scientific backgrounds ... now it all makes sense.
